What methods are used by Affiliates to sell my products and services?
Affiliates are only allowed to promote your products using methods approved by you. Some of the most common methods are search engines, blogs, content websites, online retail stores, email marketing, comparison shopping and many more. All of the promotional material used by the Affiliates are created by MarketLite and approved by you.
How are the Affiliate's sales tracked?
We first insert a tracking pixel on your shopping cart. Next we add a tracking code to the promotional material used by the Affiliates to promote your products and services. This allows us to identify the orders and revenue associated with the traffic coming in from the promotional material used by the Affiliates.
How much and how often are Affiliates paid?
Typically an Affiliate earns anywhere from 4%-14% of the revenue they generate to your website. All commissions on sales are held until they clear a 30 day period. This allows for us to reverse any commissions on returns or failure of payment by customers. Once sales clear a 30-day period Affiliates are generally paid the 1st and 15th of each month using an escrow account.
Am I able to control how my Affiliate Program is run?
Absolutely. Even though you may have hundreds or thousands of Affiliate promoting your products or services the program is extremely controlled. We approve each Affiliate into the program, set the commission rate, provide the promotional material used and approve where the Affiliates are allowed to promote your products and services. We can also adjust each of these options at any time.
Why should I have an Affiliate Program?
Affiliates work on a sales commission basis which allows you to hire hundreds of salespeople that you only have to pay if they sell something. No fixed monthly fees. If an Affiliate doesn't make any sales you won't pay him a penny. You control whose in your program, what sales material they use, where they use it and what commission they receive.
